Melynn's Indo trip

Melynn had a school break due to Chinese New Year. So she, Grace and Ms. Grad took a little trip to Indonesia. They flew into Medan, Indonesia on a Wednesday.
Taking a cab to the Jordan's house
On Thursday morning the girls drove to Toba and ate lunch and took pictures by this lake.
That afternoon, the girls visited the Sipisopiso waterfall.
It is the tallest waterfall in Indonesia.

Melynn tells me that they had to go down and then up and ton of stairs to see this amazing waterfall.

That night they ate Soto which is this soup pictured above.
Melynn said it was fantastic!
The girls got up really early the next morning to make their way to Mount Sibayak.
They started hiking at 4:45am.
At the top of the Sibayak volcano

Photo of a religious group that was meditating at the top.

The photo above and below was inside the crater. You can see the steam coming out.
The yellow is from the sulfur.

Assuming the photo above was taken on their way down since it is now light out.
The Sinabung volcano is in the background but the girls hiked a different one on this day.
Little did they know that on Monday this volcano was going to erupt!
photos of a ghost town. The town was deserted when the Sinabung volcano erupted .
On Friday night the girls headed back to Medan. On Saturday they got some
Nasi Rendang and saw the Black Panther movie :)
That evening they flew back to Penang.
Marta Bak- a delicious dessert
