Boys trip to Alaska!

Aaron and Jaxon flew to Anchorage to meet up with Jay and his cousins and uncle.
They went on a flyout to Wolverine Creek to start the fishing adventure.
The photo below is the float plane that the guys went on.

The water is dark because there is so many fish. It is kind of like fishing in a barrel.
There is no way you cannot catch a fish.
Jaxon's first fish on this trip. He didn't want to touch it.
It's a Red Salmon.

This is Jaxon's first silver salmon. They are bigger than reds and harder to catch.
They all caught silvers.
Uncle Jay

Hiking down to the river.
Fishing for Kings.

Jaxon's first king. They caught many that day. They are a lot of fun to catch.
It was the biggest fish of the trip.
Aaron's first king.

You can only keep one king per day.

Hiking to the Russian River.
The boys didn't have a lot of fishing success but they did see a lot of bears.

Rare to find something in Jaxon's name.
Halibut fishing and Jaxon caught a shark!

Jaxon's first halibut.
A good day fishing.
The Anchorage Alaska Temple.

No Bananas!

Aaron was so happy to have this time with Jaxon. They were gone for 10 days.
Jaxon loved it!!!
