Aaron celebrates Raya

While the kids and I were finishing up our summer in California, Aaron had spent a week in the Netherlands.  There were 10 individuals from Malaysia that were being trained in the Netherlands. This was the first time that any of them had been outside of Malaysia. The training period happened to overlap with Ramadan. The end of Ramadan has a big celebration called Hari Raya. It is a time to spend with family and eat lots of food. Since these employees were all going to be away from their families, the company hosted a celebration for them in The Netherlands and Aaron flew out to celebrate with them. It was a good time and everyone was happy.

As you can see in the pictures, Aaron wore a traditional Malaysian outfit for the occasion :)
