St. Louis, Missouri- Family summer trip 2019

Our last stop of our 2019 Family Summer trip was St. Louis, Missouri.

Jaxon wanted to visit the Greater St Louis Air and Space Museum.
The area also had an air strip so we could watch planes take off and land as well.

The plane behind them was about to take off.

Some helicopter pilots allowed Charles to sit in the cockpit.

This plane was once owned by Howard Hughes.

We were able to see inside the plane.

Charles, making some important decisions.

The plane even had a gold sink.

But I think Charles enjoyed the simulator even more!

Jaxon likes to talk shop (talk about planes) with anyone who will engage him.

Did you know that Panera is called Saint Louis Bread Company in the St Louis area?

Now it is off to see the Gateway to the West.

Off to see the Cardinals play!

Cardinals Vs. Cubs. There was a rain delay at about the 5th inning. We decided to head back to the hotel at that point. Good thing because after the delay, the game didn't end till midnight!

We had a really nice vacation. Learning about our history, deepening our understanding of the gospel and the early days of the church, visiting Wil's relatives, visiting Darby's friends from her mission and time spent strengthening our family bonds...It was a Win all around!
