Dalat's Fine Arts Festival 2016

All three of my kids (that still live at home) participated in this years Fine Arts Festival.

Jaxon played in the middle school band concert.

Darby performed with Susan and Thizbe in a dance routine.

 Melynn performed in a short drama with Elizabeth.

Dalat Chapel Service- Easter

I realize that this post is past due but had forgotten to mention that around Easter time this year, Darby and Jaxon both participated in the Friday Chapel service during school.

Jaxon is involved in "Worship Band" that meets once a week to practice during X block. They usually play every Friday during normal chapel service. However, for this particular service, Darby was also asked to participate. She put together her own dance routine and shared with both the middle school and high school service.

Raw Foods Cooking Class

Recently, I have been paying more attention to my diet (and my families) and trying to intake a "little" less sugar. It was advertised through boot camp about a raw foods cooking class and I thought it would be fun to check it out. I invited Melynn to tag along with me :)

Celebrating Melynn's 16th B'day

It has been a tradition in our family to do something special for our kids when they turn 16. Since Melynn's birthday is June 12th it was going to be difficult to plan anything near that day due to the fact that school gets out on June 2nd. SO...we decided to let her celebrate early! She wanted to take her 3 best friends to Singapore so that they could spend a day at Universal Studios.
