Omaha trip Dec 2021

 Took another quick trip up to Omaha. We flew up on a Thursday evening and had two full days with the kids before leaving Sunday morning. 

Charles had kindergarten so it was just the 2 littles on Friday.

We were able to celebrate Aaron's 52nd since his birthday was 2 days prior.

Charles started taking ice skating lesson so we went to the rink so he could show us his skills.

Later that day we visited the Nativity Festival in Ashtyn's stake. It brought back memories of when I was in charge of this event in Temecula. I preferred the simple approach that Ashtyn's stake took.

Thanksgiving 2021

 We had a wonderful time hosting Thanksgiving this year for my mom, Ken, Greg, Carmen, Dave, Kristi, Nathan and Aunt Joan! Kristi flew into Gulfport and then stayed a couple of days with Mom. They then drove to the house on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Dave and Nathan flew in about the same time. On Monday night, Greg and Carmen flew in after spending the weekend in Mexico.

Aunt Joan came to visit and eat with us on Thanksgiving. 

On Friday, we all dispersed...Greg, Carmen, Mom and Ken drove to Gulfport.
The rest of us drove down to Cocoa Beach to spend the weekend before Dave, Kristi
and Nathan flew home from Orlando on Saturday evening.
Had to get another gas station run in while driving down:)

We took an airboat ride in Christmas, Florida. So fun!

We introduced Dave, Kristi and Nathan to Burger Fi. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather until we had to drop them off at the airport. Everyone had a great week!
