Welcome to the world Anders!

Aaron and I flew to Houston in mid March to meet our 3rd grandchild. Anders is a beautiful and healthy baby and we are so happy for Ashtyn and Will. Charles and Marion were pleased with their new sibling too. While visiting we were able to give the parents a break and work on some home projects.

Aaron installed knobs on all their kitchen cabinets and replaced the faucet in Charles' bathroom.
Go Aaron!

In April we returned to Victoria for Anders to receive a blessing from his father.

Jaxon and friends

Jaxon has been busy this last semester of school.
He got a job as a dishwasher at Back 40.
He is really enjoying working with some of his friends there
as well as the extra spending money.

Heidi and Family come to visit!

Heidi and Jesse came down from their new home in North Carolina
for a family vacation in Orlando. They stopped at our home for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed their visit! Hope this will be the first of many more to come:)
Heidi is sooo talented. Check out these beautiful AND tasty cookies that she brought us!
Ok had to take a short break to say that the morning they were visiting

Getting ready for 2021

I just love getting organized! It helps me think clearly and makes me happy to have a home that is clutter free. When Aaron asked me to help him with "his" garage, I was more than thrilled to accept. However, it is hard to organize a bunch of tools and supplies when you don't have a place to things so we went to Home Depot and spotted this bad boy:)

Jaxon's bathroom needed some help! see Before (above) and then below.

My mom gave me this old school assignment from when I was little (see the yellow one). When I was going through papers in the attic, I happened to stumble upon an old assignment of Aaron's.
I think they make a perfect match!!!

Getting organized is not just putting stuff in piles, it is having the TIME organized so that you can be able to do the things you want and need to do. For example...
Time to exercise has always been a priority. My mental health requires it!
Getting my craftiness on thanks to some free downloads.
This was an easter banner that I put up in the dining room.
One recent Friday night Aaron declares, "I want to make strawberry jalapeƱo jam!"
So we ran to Publix and got him going :)
It turned out great!
