Valborgsmässoafton or "Valborg" is held every year on April 30th. This is the time when Swedes gather together to say goodbye to winter and to welcome spring. They will gather their old twigs and dead branches from their yards and build a big bonfire. This is usually organized in each community. Our bonfire was HUGE!
